What did tax pros have to say about the 2022 filing season?

More than 5,700 tax professionals responded to Drake Software’s fourth annual How Did Your Filing Go? Survey. This group of attorneys, CPAs, EAs, and preparers were asked about a number of issues from the 2022 filing season, including:

• Advance Child Tax Credit
• Amended returns
• Client growth
• COVID-19 Omicron variant
• Filing deadline
• Identity theft tax refund fraud
• Prepared-return volume

Respondents were also asked to choose the most challenging tax issue they faced, ranging from Earned Income Credit changes and the Recovery Rebate Credit to Form 8915-F payments and state taxes.
