  • Drake E-Sign – In Person is fully integrated in Drake Tax, making it easy to incorporate into your existing workflow. Simply review the return on screen, allow the taxpayer to sign each signature document using a signature pad, and apply your digital signature to complete the process.

  • E-signatures eliminate the need to print, sign, and scan back into the Drake Documents, saving valuable time.
  • A preparer’s digital signature can be created one time and applied to each return on-the-fly.
  • Choose Sign Now and complete the e-signing process immediately. Or choose Sign Later and the document is stored in the client’s Document Manager folder. Initiate the e-signing process from the Document Manager when ready to sign. Either option, Sign Now or Sign Later, will automatically save the PDF document in the client’s Document Manager folder.
  • Standard PDF printing options are available, such as watermarking and password protection.

  • SigLite LCD 1x5 (Model T-L(BK)460-HSB-R) – Available below starting at $175. Integral LCD display shows signature on both pad and computer screen as it is captured. A very popular and widely-used model with natural signing action and fast capture.
  • SigGem LCD 1x5 (Model T-L(BK)462-HSB-R) – Available below starting at $275. Integral LCD display and tempered glass signing surface with active digitizing pen carries a longer warranty. Very popular, high-performance model that is universally supported in many applications.

All pads are available with either USB connection, or a virtual serial connection that works with Drake Hosted.

  • Scriptel Slimline 1×5 (NON-LCD) SC-ST1475 – $98 – $103*. A full-sized model, but without the built-in LCD signature display.
  • Scriptel Compact LCD SC-ST1550 – $239 – $245*. A smaller signature pad that’s more convenient for carrying or storing when not in use.
  • Scriptel Magstripe LCD SC-ST1526 – $319. Includes a built-in reader for debit and credit cards.

Drake E-Sign – Online

To offer your customers the ability to sign documents remotely, check out Drake E-Sign – Online. You can send the customer documents via Drake Portals (SecureFilePro), and the customer can sign them on their mobile device or computer. (Requires a Drake Portals (SecureFilePro) acccount, plus additional fee for e-signature events.)
