IRS Wraps Up 2013 Tax Forums in San Diego
The Internal revenue Service wraps up its series of six tax forums in San Diego on September 17-19 with a sold-out event.
The IRS Tax Forums offer three days of informative education sessions, training and networking, featuring a full agenda of the latest tax law information, hands-on workshops, networking opportunities and exhibits of the latest products and services for your business needs.
Attendees will hear the latest on key federal and state tax issues from top IRS subject matter experts and leading industry experts. The sessions also offer continuing professional education (CPE) and certified financial planner (CFP) credits on more than 40 tax topics, with credits for enrolled agents, certified public accountants and California Tax Education Council (CTEC) participants. Two-hour workshops provide hands-on sessions but are limited to 200 people per session.
Dozens of exhibitors – Including Drake Software – will display a wide selection of products and services that support tax administration and help enhance business operations. Exhibit hall hours are 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Tuesday and 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday. We cordially invite you to stop by the Drake booth to discuss your needs with our tax professionals.
Attendees are also invited to visit with IRS Oversight Board representatives and offer comments on various IRS initiatives and programs.
For those who are unable to attend this or other forum sessions, the IRS Nationwide Tax Forums Online (NTFO) website provides courses based on taped seminars from previous IRS Nationwide Tax Forums. The courses may be taken for either CPE credit or audit. Find it at http://www.irstaxforumsonline.com/.
