The 13 practice returns and solutions are designed to familiarize you with Drake
Software data entry. Use the data in the practice PDFs to enter the returns in the
software. After data entry is complete, calculate the returns (Ctrl + C), and in
Print/View mode, compare your return to the solutions provided.
These returns cannot be e-filed – they are for practice only. To test e-filing,
use the test return SSN series of 400-00-1001 through 400-00-1005.
Several returns include a bank product. Because these practice returns use test
Social Security Numbers, a red Message page will indicate that the return cannot
be e-filed because a RAL is not allowed for that SSN. This is correct for these
practice returns.
