Sales Trainer / Coach

This year marks Chip’s eighth season as part of the sales team, and his eleventh year as a Drake Software employee. He states that his work in the sales department at Drake is the “most challenging and rewarding” of his life. Prior to joining Drake Software, Chip worked in sales and service for Dnet, a full-service Internet provider.
As Drake’s sales coach and trainer, he is involved in many aspects of mentoring new personnel on Drake’s sales team. “If there’s a new person on the sales team, I get to show them the ropes and help them adjust to the new position.” Chip states that he enjoys his role as trainer and mentor to new and existing sales staff.
In addition to his role as sales coach, Chip plays an active part in implementing new technology for the sales group by training and educating the team (and occasionally other groups as well) in various software packages.
